Pherasel verbs in academic English


I did these exercises which were related to phrasal verbs in Academic Vocabulary in use book( unit 6 exercises 6.1 and 6.2)

6.1
1-We conduct (carry out) a series of experiments to test out our hypothesis.
2-Before the test you should revise (go/look back over) chapter 7 and 8 of your text books.
3-In his article on the American Civil War Kingston discusses (goes into) the reasons why the situation developed in the way it did.
4-Cole presents (puts forward) some fascinating theories on the development on of language in his latest book
5-The psychologist observed (pointed out) that it was very unusual for a young child to behave in this way.
6-Please check (go through) your work again carefully before handing it in.
7-In this article Simpson aims (sets out) to prove that the Chinese reached America long before the Vikings.
8-Women now constitute (make up) over half the student population in ,most universities in this country

1-on 2-out 3-out (my answer was wrong it should be up) 4-out 5-out (it should be up) 6-forward 7-on 8-out
