1-since 1994, the use of surveillance has dramatically increased in the UK.
2-the UK uses more CCTV cameras for controlling population than anywhere else in the world.
3-it is estimated that 500.000 CCTV operate within London (this means there is one for every fourteen people.
4- After 26 October 2004 all passports issued in the US have had a biometric identifier.
5- In the USA has been done routinely fingerprinting and face scanning from foreign visitors since January 2004.
6- With the biometric passport every country may have its own surveillance system, finger prints, face scans and keeping them as long as they wish.
7- We can not be absolutely certain that there will be no misuse of the DNA database.
8- Police can track down offenders by matching samples with other family members who may be on the database.
9-The number of samples on the database has trebled in the last five years in the UK.
10- It may not always be possible to identify people from their DNA
11- Micro-chipped passports were introduced in the UK in the middle of 2005
12- Millions of passengers could end up on a computer system that could be accessed by governments across the world.
