first draft of globalization

1-Introduction
There is no shadow of doubt about fact that international integration has been a phenomenon of third millennium (Yoon, y, 2005). It has been a process of interaction and integration among people, companies, and governments in the world. For thousands of years people and corporations have tried to invest in other countries. In fact, the majority aspects of the current globalization are completely similar to those prevailing before the outbreak of the First World War in 1914. (globalization101 website).it is generally agreed that globalization from the beginning was fraught with conflict, competition, control and misuse. (Abraham,k, 2000) in addition, this has had remarkable effects on the environment, culture, political systems, and economic development or even on theological thinking and mission praxis in recent years. (Abraham,k, 2000).Its impact on those has been developed day by day and it knows no boundary. One of the most significant current discussions among people and governments is the influence of globalization on poor nations and rich nations. However, proponents of globalization believe that it allows poor countries to develop economically and raise their standards of living, whereas, opponents of globalization claim that political and economic changes have taken place only in one corner of world and they affect the people's life far away. For instance "a decision of the USA not to purchase raw rubber can unsettle the economy of Malaysia" (Mathews, G, 2000) .As be mentioned before globalization is deeply controversial. Thereby, it needs to be considered more and more. In this essay the positive effects and negative effects of globalization will be examined first, following this, its impact on polymer engineering and plastic product design which is my subject will be considered.

2-Advantages of globalization
The most remarkable advantages of globalization are increasing free trade between nations……….
3-Disadvantages of globalization
On the other hand, the increasing inequality between rich nations and poor nations is a fundamental threat in the world………..
4-The positive effect on polymer engineering and plastic product design (technology)
Competition within the corporations has beneficially increased by globalization and all factories are trying to improve their technology in each industry sector..........
5-The negative effect on polymer engineering and plastic product design (technology)
Political matters have had straight effect on improving technology especially on the third world nations in the recent years..........
6-Conclusion

the reflection of 4 lectures

I read 4 lectures which have mentioned in our yellow book, i have tried to write my introduction from these lectures

Globalization has been the most controversial issue in commencement of third millennium. Although, it does not have got the same meaning by different realms and disciplines. Despite there is not a global agreement about the characterization of this term, it has revolutionized the whole face of economy and business in entire of the world. There are a number of arguments that claim globalization has opened various perspectives such as flourish in communications and markets, contact between cultures, spread investment, technology and modernity, and improve standards of productions.
However, It did not a long time to be revealed how shaken these claims are. Many people believe that in spite of nowadays propagandas “In Defense of Globalization”, as a result of deep alteration in technology, it is doing irreparable damage on humankind specifically working class’s quality of life which includes the most majority of our planet people’s population.

Degrees of certainly

Degrees of certainty

I strongly recommend that have look to this short notes which will help you to manage CERTAINLY in your Academic Writing

Some expressions those are useful when presenting ideas that they are true or almost certainly true:

It is evident that………….
There is a tendency for……
There is every likelihood…………
The research is likely to ………..
The situation is liable to change…………….
It is, of course, essential to check data carefully.
The best age for language learning is, apparently, the teenage years

The writer is unsure:

The research has allegedly come to some very significant conclusions
The article is reportedly an excellent piece of work
In the absence of evidence to the contrary we can assume that…………..
The perception of boys as poor language learners can be shown to be false

Globalization and its impact on Human Rights

I read some part of this article and I have written some notes regarding it which might be useful for my essay:

1-Modern communication has converted the world into a global village
2-Politacal and economic have been taken place in one corner of the world affect the life of people for away.
3-In the last 300-400 years ago, all countries created new trade routes from the west to the east.
4-The process of globalization from the beginning was fraught with competition, conflict, domination, exploitation
5-Theresults of the past few decades of development have been well summarized,"THE POOR BECOMING POORER,THE RICH BECOMING RICHER"
6- Globalization has revolutionized the whole face of economy and business in entire of the world
7-Globalization can not be considered seriously without the context that was emerged.
8-Term of globalization could be sketched by “International Trade Openness”, “free market”, “economic liberalization” and “Foreign Direct Investment (FDI)”.

MOLDING

http://www.ides.com/newsletters/free/2007/1017_Paulson.htm
I found this link and that was very intresting for me because molding is very important part in casting section in each factory but as this link shows we didnt follow this steps in my country when i was working in foundry section exactly. (IT SHOULD BE CONSIDERD!!!)

1-Plastic Temperature
2.Plastic Flow Rate
3.Plastic Pressure
4.Plastic Cooling Rate & Time
5.What Does Start Up Entail?
6.Initial Sampling
7.Process with No Mold Release
8.Effects of Adjusting Injection Speeds
9.MFI & Material Lot Number
10.Textured Parts
11.Tool Tear Down & Inspection

Plastic Materials

Chapter one in plastic product design book which i have started to read from last month is about PLASTIC MATERIALS I have written my reflection a short summary of this chapter:

Plastic are organic materials which are made from large molecules that are constructed by a chain-like attachment of certain building-block molecules. Plastic have divided into two categories :THERMOPLASTIC and THERMOSET plastics.

THERMOSETS:

Thermoses plastics are polymers(“poly” means many) which are useless in their raw states. they are the hardest and stiffest of all plastics, some example of this group are: phenolics , melamine, urea, alkyds, and epoxies

THERMOPLASTICS:

this group of plastics are “heat-sensitive” material which are solids at room temperature, like most metals. common examples of this group are: polyethylene , polystyrene ,polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and nylon.

Feedback of My Secound Seminar

I did my second seminar, If I wanted evaluate my self I would say that I was better than my first seminar, my preparation was more acceptable than before and I had prepared useful information and research about surveillance from steve`s blog in addition, some good expressions which could help me when I wanted to say my ideas. I think I spoke not enough and it should have been more. When others were speaking I listened to them good and didn’t interrupted them even I tried to write some notes after their speaking because some people in our group had made interesting points from some resources . I argued about my opinions and sometimes I used my evidence to support my opinions but for next seminars I would need to discuss more and clearer.
In my opinion my language was ok and most of them were understandable .finally, I worked not bad with the other people in my group in this seminar but as I mentioned before I will definitely need to work harder and push myself more.

Some points of using surveillance

My ideas about surveillance (I have taken from some links which are on Steve's bog and jim`s blog)

1-since 1994, the use of surveillance has dramatically increased in the UK.

2-the UK uses more CCTV cameras for controlling population than anywhere else in the world.

3-it is estimated that 500.000 CCTV operate within London (this means there is one for every fourteen people.

4- After 26 October 2004 all passports issued in the US have had a biometric identifier.

5- In the USA has been done routinely fingerprinting and face scanning from foreign visitors since January 2004.

6- With the biometric passport every country may have its own surveillance system, finger prints, face scans and keeping them as long as they wish.

7- We can not be absolutely certain that there will be no misuse of the DNA database.

8- Police can track down offenders by matching samples with other family members who may be on the database.

9-The number of samples on the database has trebled in the last five years in the UK.

10- It may not always be possible to identify people from their DNA

11- Micro-chipped passports were introduced in the UK in the middle of 2005

12- Millions of passengers could end up on a computer system that could be accessed by governments across the world.

13- ICAO = the International Civil Aviation Organisation
